If you are looking to fill up your events calendar for 2024, you will no doubt be thinking ahead to Easter events. You may have seen last week that we shared Easter Activities happening in the Lake District, well this time it is the turn of Liverpool. There are so many Easter Events in Liverpool and Merseyside happening this year. Here’s our ultimate guide to what is happening this Easter near you!

We have separated the events into Family Friendly and Child Focussed activities with a special mention at the bottom of the post for Easter Craft sessions and Adult only events. There truly lots of fun things happening for everyone in Liverpool City Region this Easter!

When is Easter this year?

Easter Bank Holiday Weekend is fairly early this year with Good Friday on 29th March going through to Easter Monday on the 1st April.

ALWAYS check details with venues direct by clicking the blue links before heading out, especially opening hours and booking details. Information can change. Many events have indoor contingency plans in case of severe weather etc but always best to check beforehand.

Liverpool Easter Activities For Families and Children

23/3 – 5/4 Speke Hall National Trust

Make your way along the Easter trail and find 10 nature-inspired activities for the whole family amid the beauty and history of Speke Hall’s gardens and estate. 10am – 3.30pm Normal admission plus £3 applies. Chocolate Egg available at the end of the Easter Egg trail – Allergies and food intolerance catered for. More information on the National Trust website.


23, 24, 29, 30 & 31/3 Easter Family Fun at Inglenook Farm, Rainford, St Helens

Enjoy the Inglenook Children’s Easter party with Easter crafts, Easter Egg Hunts and a chance to meet the Easter Bunny. Various time slots available. Children £10, Adults £1 – Book via Inglenook Farm website.


23/3 Teardrops Easter Fayre – Enchanted Tea Rooms, St Helens

11am-4pm Stalls, Live Music, Refreshments, Meet the Easter Bunny & Easter games in the Easter Wonderland.

FREE entry – Charges for activities raise money for Teardrops charity. Visit the website for details on how to get FREE parking.

24/3 Easter Extravaganza  – Unit 200, Connect Studios, Seaforth

Easter Bonnet Parade, Crafts, A visit from Peter Rabbit and Prizes 11am-3pm


29/3 – 14/4 Easter Family Activity – Tate Liverpool 

FREE create activities for the whole family. Every day 10am-4pm. Please note Tate Liverpool has moved to RIBA, Mann Island while their Albert Dock venue is closed for redevelopment.


29/3 Storybarn Easter Family Tea Party – The Mansion House 

2 sessions, 11am & 3pm – Adults £30, Children £17, U2 £6 – Special Springtime afternoon tea inside the Grade II listed building is the perfect way to celebrate the Easter break with your little ones. The Storybarn team will lead games, crafts and the silliest of activities outside on the lawn and there’ll even be the chance to cause chaos at the ice cream trike as you fix yourself up a scoop for the road.

29/3 – 7/4 Indoor FunFair – Exhibition Centre 

The indoor funfair at Liverpool Albert Dock is returning for Easter. Tickets £13.99 (Early Bird £11)

Jaw-dropping rides for the whole family under one roof at the Exhibition Centre Liverpool. Quieter session available 3/4 at 6pm.

29/3 & 30/3 Easter Bunny Breakfast  – The Elephant Pub

8.30am includes Children’s Breakfast, visit from the Easter Bunny, Chocolate gift and games. Tickets (£30) available from All Events.


29/3 – 14/4 Easter Otterspool Adventure

Make a full day of it over Easter Weekend and throughout the Easter Holidays with a Petting Spring Farm, Easter Show – Oompa Adventure! Easter Egg-Venture, Easter parade & Trail. Plant your own Carrots at the Potting Shed, Volvo Diggers and a huge playground.

30/4 Easter Family Day – Haydock Racecourse

Dinosaur themed Easter Funday . Thrilling racing action as the racecourse is transformed alongside activities, life-sized dinosaurs and entertainment that will leave your little explorers in awe.

30/3 Little Pretties Easter Party – Garston Royal British Legion

Annual event back for the Easter holidays, An Alice in Wonderland themed Easter party with games, raffle, food and the Easter Bunny. £15 over 1’s. Book at All Events.


30/3 Easter Party – Lister Steps at The Old Library

Games, Easter Disco, Easter Bunny, Bonnet Parade and much more between 2pm-5pm.Get ready for a thrilling egg hunt adventure! Explore the nooks and crannies of the Old Library as you search for hidden eggs.

Ticket £12.50 children & adults £6. Family tickets available on the booking website.


31/3 Easter Fun Day – The Carlton Venue

Join Carlton Bingo for a fun filled Easter Sunday afternoon, suitable for the whole family. Featuring live music, activities and a visit from the very busy Easter Bunny. Tickets £7.50 available from All Events website.

31/3 Easter Fun Day – Lock & Quay, Bootle

FREE Easter Fun Day featuring Easter Crafts, Petting Zoo hopefully with Liverpool Lambs and Easter Egg Hunt. 1pm-3pm. More details on the Lock and Quay Facebook page.


31/3 Easter Bunny Brunch – Unit 2, Murphy’s distillery & Bar

Pop down for brunch and visit the Easter Bunny! There will be food, drinks and music with the easter bunny walking around taking pictures then with a meet and greet at his rabbit hole with his 10ft easter eggs & games! 

£5 per child for a visit to see the Easter Bunny and a free gift. Food and drinks are charged separately.

31/3 Easter Sunday Lunch – Speke Aerodrome Heritage Grounds

Enjoy Easter Sunday with a delightful and fun-filled lunch event, with an exciting Easter egg hunt and other Easter activities.

3/4 Wonka Easter Brunch – Ten Streets Social
